For your first taster class please turn up wearing comfortable clothing and trainers and most importantly relax and try to enjoy it.
Everyone starts here, even the best martial artists in the world had to take that first step. There is no expectation to be good, only to expect good instructors!
Lessons change week to week but generally follow our syllabus. A typical lesson would include:
Stretching and loosening up
Striking and Defensive Drills using focus pads
Two person sets - focusing on yielding and sensitivity, controlling distance or more striking and learning counter offence.
We usually finish the lesson cultivating our internal growth using a number of ways, all enjoyable and excellent for your wellbeing as well as your Wing Chun.
Grading is encouraged but it’s always the choice of the student.
